Coach Welsh's career record of 299-161-5 is eighth most in Georgia prep history, and third most among active coaches. Coach Welsh should improve to sixth all-time by the end of the 2006 season. Welsh holds the Peach State record for games coached with a total of 465. Larry Campbell is second in games coached with 461, and is the all-time leader in wins with a 390-68-3 mark.
