LINCOLNTON - The third-ranked Red Devils of Lincoln County, sparked by a review of last year's 10-point loss to the Patriots, played a great all-around game to whip #2 Wilcox County 27-12.
The win earns the Devils' their fifth semi-final visit in the last 6 years. The game against Wesleyan in Norcross Friday at 7:30 will be the 25th time in the 37 years of The Campbell Years that Lincoln County has made it to at least the state semi-finals. That's better than two out of every three!
