Win at GMC's homecoming gave Devils at least 6 wins for the 42nd straight season. The win assures the Devils of a winning season for the 41st time in the last 42 years, and for the 13th straight year. Devils returned the opening kickoff 65 yards for TD and were never behind. A 45 yard run by Hartfield and a 51-yard run by Lockhart in the second half, in response to GMC scores, secured the win.

Devils played their best game of the season after spotting the Irish a 2-point advantage with a safety on the opening kickoff. Aquinas scored on two long passes. Devils held Irish star Ruben Garnett to 127 yards and no TDs rushing.

Region play-in game between the teams that finished second in their respective regions. Subregion B hosts the play-in games in 2014, and Subregion A will host in 2015. Lockhart scored on 69-yard run on first play from scrimmage, the passed 2 yards to Roberts with no time left to cut SA lead to 20-19. Coach Banks chose to try to win the game, instead of a tie into overtime. Jamar Norman rushed for the PAT and the 21-20 win.

The Red Devils made their fourth trip to Folkston to play the Charlton County Indians in The Swamp. Charlton entered 9-1. First loss in The Swamp, just a few miles from Florida. 2014 is the 40th anniversary of the first "Lincoln County" playoff game in Folkston in 1974. Devils led 16-0 going into fourth, partially thanks to a 99-yard interception return as first half ended. Charlton scored on 15-yard fumble return, then 20-play drive with less than a minute left. Devils had PAT kick blocked in overtime.

The Devils dominated the game except for a long kickoff return that setup the Chief's only score. LC led 21-0 before McCormick scored less than a minute before halftime. The Devil Defense look like the one from years ago as they hit hard and generally tackled well. McCormick's star running back managed only 46 yards on 12 carries, or about a third of his average from a year ago.

This was second consecutive shutout of the Vikings by the Devils. FPD had scored 56 points the week prior, and had only a loss to an undefeated AAAA team before the LC game.

Twiggs improved since first meeting, and finished third in 7-A subregion A. Play-in game between B #3 hosting A #2. Aquinas defeated Stratford Academy to win 7-A. Six teams from 7-A (LC, Aquinas, Twiggs County, Wilkinson County, First Presbyterian, and Stratford) made the playoffs.

Devils scored twice early and never looked back as their strong running game led to a 330-33 yard offensive advantage. Quay Hartfield rushed 10 times for 108 yards and two touchdowns, with QB Javon Reid running 6 times for 101 yards and two scores. Hartfield also had a great long TD run nullified by a flag.

Three G players played for Aquinas the year before, but returned to G when Aquinas ended paying scholarships. LC scored on very short drive after G fumble in 2nd quarter. G scored on very short drive after muffed punt in 3rd. LC scored winning TD with 3 minutes left after short G punt.

Abbeville entered game 3-0 and #1 in SC AA, had having given up no offensive TDs in their first 3 games. They were the defending SC AA champs. Good runs setup 3-yard run by Javon Reid with two minutes left in the first quarter. Quay Hartfield and Jamal Norman were lost to injuries in the first half. Abbeville scored on 1-yard run in final minute of third. In fourth, both teams were pushed back to their 2. The Devils got out of their hole and threatened at two points before a final minute interception almost led to a winning TD by the Panthers. The returner was ruled out of bounds at the LC 27, and the Devil defense forced a field goal attempt that failed.

LC led 7-0 early and then 19-18 going into the fourth but special team errors and an interception led to the final margin. The Devils played without their two leading rushers, and their ground game was almost non-existent. On the positive side, the Devils passing game looked the best in a long time, spurred on by several long passes.

Tigers had almost 400 yards offense, with their main back gaining over 200. First time Devils played a regular season game on artificial turf.

Devils finished seeded fourth in subregion after tieing Greene Co but losing on head-to-head. The teams exchange the lead four times in the first half before the Devils took charge just before half for a 34-27 lead that was never overcome. Devils had 552 total yards and 27 first downs.

Devils lead all-time series 39-35-6. Tigers end year at 4-7. Second time LC has beaten W-W twice in a season (other was 2005), and third time the two teams have met three times in a season (other was 1922).

MCA coached again by Robbie Robinson, who coached them when LC last played MCA in Brunswick. Robinson left for four years at W-W, where he won against LC the last three seasons (2012-14). Kickoff dealyed from 7:30 to 8:00 due to blown tie on chartered bus with players. Team didn't arrive until about 6:45. MCA scored twice early on long passes. Devils fought back, scoring and then having an opportunity to tie in the fourth before coming up short.
